I just love the cover of this book so much 😍 It is so pretty, and this book also has yellow stained pages! It is just such a gorgeous book. Not to mention that I am super excited to read the book itself. I might have the wonderful @theyachronicle to thank for this beautiful book now being in my possession. Remember, if you want to get yourself a YA Chronicles box, be sure to use code RFAB10 to get a discount! They have their April box coming, with a Bibbitty Bobbity Books theme! Plus a great Pride box coming too ❤️💛💚💙💜 Here is the summary for Frogkisser by Garth Nix: 'The last thing she needs is a prince. The first thing she needs is some magic.
Poor Princess Anya. Forced to live with her evil stepmother’s new husband, her evil stepstepfather. Plagued with an unfortunate ability to break curses with a magic-assisted kiss. And forced to go on the run when her stepstepfather decides to make the kingdom entirely his own.
Aided by a loyal talking dog, a boy thief trapped in the body of a newt, and some extraordinarily mischievous wizards, Anya sets off on a Quest that, if she plays it right, will ultimately free her land—and teach her a thing or two about the use of power, the effectiveness of a well-placed pucker, and the finding of friends in places both high and low. Day 28 of #marchmaasness is Illyrian Bastards - Favourite Book Outcast.
I was also tagged by @seriesofunfortunatebooks to do the #bookandhand tag, so here it is.
I remember my sister's friend's mum lent me this book probably over a year ago and I haven't given it back yet 😬. I think I brought it up once but she said I could keep it.
Question: Are you currently borrowing any books from friends?
I borrowed How Hard Can Love Be? by Holly Bourne from @magic.reader (sorry, I will get round to reading that) and also Magic Study by Maria V. Snyder from another friend.
My fourth book is coming out tonight "Spiritual Journey: Life's Eternal Blessings." My journey of life has had struggles and blessings which I have learned to live with. At all times I know life is a journey we all have embarked upon. How we cope with life is an individual journey where sometimes we can choose and at other times we land upon a door that we don't agree with but have to deal with. At that point may you all find the help, the support, the friend, whom but can give a helping hand or support just by being there. I have had times when just a smile or a good compliment was all I was looking for. I knew it was then I found my Creator always waiting without any words or comments. So I told my Lord how much I love My Creator. All my love, I poured out in my prayerbook for my Creator. I then started to write inspirational quotations or as I call words of support at times we all need. I was looking for support from within when I was lost, so I have written my heart filled prayers and inspirational quotations for all of you whom might be in my position and need a friend called words. As I wrote in one of my books: "Words are painful so don't throw them out and live to regret. Words are powerful too, so do use them as a gift."
Information on my books and where to get them is available on my blog for all of you. The fourth one will be available tonight. Visit my blog.
Has anyone read The Possessions yet? The synopsis sounds soo good & I've been wanting to start it forever but I'm still reading ACOL & Star Wars: The Aftermath 😂 The Possessions is about Edie who works for a company that allows people to reconnect with their dead loved ones. Basically she wears their belongings and let's their spirits possess her, creepy right? But then, she becomes obsessed with one of her clients and her desires begin to blur with that of his deceased wife. It reminds me a little of one of my fave kdramas Oh my Ghostess so I'm really excited to start it 😍
P.s. I've been looking for some new accounts to follow, so feel free to tag people whose accounts you loveeee 💕

Some books simply speak for themselves, and Whatever Happened to Interracial Love? is one of those books. Today's "review" is mostly just a collection of quotes from this heart-wrenching masterpiece that Christina swears is the best book she's ever read. Huge props to @bookofthemonthclub for this one !!
Rainy morning in bed and I am slightly under the weather... The best thing to do is disappear into a book!
Avid readers that you all are, I highly recommend this book! Statistics meet literary criticism with incredibly intriguing results!
• do writers really follow their own advice, like not using adverbs, and is that advice sound?
• is it possible to discern authorship of a book based on the words they use?
• what do authors think of the other gender and how do they portray them?
There is plenty to tickle your brain and I was constantly in awe of what the numbers had to say!
The charts throughout are colorful and reader friendly--even for someone who seizes up at the sight of numbers and math like me!
For writers and readers, this is a must read. ✒️

Day 2 (3/28): Book with a badass heroine.
Not sorry for being predictable and mention Nailah again. What? She's one of my favourite heroines 😍😍😌
I took a picture with the book recently and I don't want to post similar pic in 2 weeks time, so here's the pic of the bookmark ft. some of my book collection in the back 📚✨
(To read my rants about Nailah, go a few posts back. I don't feel like typing a long caption now)

I read this a few weeks ago and I loved it so much 😊. Unfortunately it's been returned to the library now! •
Instagram is refusing to let me get past 363 followers and it's so frustrating! 😞😞😞 •
What's your favourite film? I love pretty much every marvel film, and I also have a weakness for The Princess and the Frog and Rise of the Guardians! 🐸
OMG! 😱 Guys! I'm dying over here! @shelflovecrate chose me as a rep for the spring, and I am just floating on a cloud now. Seriously, no one pinch me because I want this fantastic dream to go on!
#justmybookbloggerlife -most hated book- What? Hate a book I own? Why would I keep a book I hated? Ohhhh! Wait! There is that one book I keep slowly destroying because I read it, hated it, and decided it served a better purpose as various bookstagram props like loose pages, burned pages, pages with lipstick, with fake bloody handprints on it, crumpled up pages, etc. Yeah, I think I can say with confidence I hated this book.
I received this ARC last summer, and I really couldn't wait for this book to end. It wasn't SO bad that I DNFed it, but it was bad enough that I didn't feel guilty about tearing it up when I needed a book to burn for a challenge, or when I wanted pages for a background. I really wanted to like it too because the author is local, and it's a Pride and Prejudice retelling, but it was just soooo bad. I honestly would hate the character of Elizabeth Bennet if I had never read Pride and Prejudice before.
On the other hand, I do LOVE these candles from @flickeringtales. Rachel included a Mr. Darcy sample in my first order, and my almost exact words upon smelling it for the first time was "Oh my god! It smells like MAN!" and about 10 minutes later I was placing an order for an 8oz tin. Pemberly is so nice too. It is very florally and fresh. And her candles burn really well! I've had an even burn in all of her candles so far.
What's a popular book you didn't enjoy?

🌸Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them by Jk Rowling
🌸I can't believe I haven't posted a proper fbawtft appreciation post yet
🌸I'm already so excited for 4 more movies aaaah
🌸Who is your favourite Fantastic Beast? Mine would have to be the bowtruckle because I can relate to pickett's level of clingyness
📚The raven king has one of the most beautiful covers 💟 ... I think this series is one of those that makes you sooo attached to the characters.
I am half way through the first book & am already in love with the boys & blue 📚
.which book characters you love the most?
