Got my workout in at least✔️ country heat day 9 surprised me a bit that it has 2 full 25 -28 min videos. Time to down at least 60 oz of water I'm so thirsty💦💧
Day 9/30. I'm doing the "deluxe" workout schedule which means that two days a week, I have doubles (the regularly scheduled dance routine + a calisthenics routine called Dance Conditioning). Today, I began that doubles routine... I was drenched by the end and my quads/glutes/core were burning by the end. My back is feeling better and my natural energy has increased a lot since I've worked out daily for 9 days, my nutrition has VASTLY improved, and I'm not pressuring myself to do anything I don't want to do. Anxious to take my two week progress photos this weekend 👉 nothing like seeing your hard work pay off to motivate you to stay focused and not go off the deep end with the 4th of July holiday coming up! 🇺🇸🎇Also, whose dog is this misbehaving in my video? Where is my sweet, chill foster pup??😂😂
After years of yoyo dieting, battling depression, and poor eating habits, the left picture was the unhappy and unhealthy person I had become. As hard as it is to share the photo on the left, it was my reality.

I didn't want to just be alive, I wanted to start living. I was tired of living life on the sidelines. My body was being weighed down from binge eating, stress, and depression, and I knew I had to do something about it. Thanks to my faith in God, along with #countryheat , #21dayfix , and now #21dayfixextreme which was created by #autumncalabrese , along with my family and fitsisters, I have lost almost 60 lbs. If I wanted to pick up a sack that was filled with 60 lbs of sand, there would be no way I could do so. I often wonder what all the excess weight did to my knees, my joints, and my body in general. I regret it took me so long to take charge of my health, but it took me giving it all to God. This is something I could never do alone, and that is why I believe I had failed to do so for the last 25 years. I'm not wasting anymore of my life, I'm on a mission, one that I no longer have to do alone.

You might be tired of my almost daily #sweatitout posts, but it's holding me accountable, and if I can positively influence somebody with my post, then why not? Here's another why: when my almost 8 year old got out of the pool yesterday, I commented on how thin and fit he looked. His response: "Just like you Mommy because you're also thin and fit." Here's a #TuesdayTip that's working for me: write down and post your workout plan for the week to hold you accountable. I'm doing a hybrid #ChaleanExtreme and #CountryHeat plan, so I wrote the schedule out on a whiteboard near my workout area so I can check off each day after I've completed my workout! Those checkmarks are so satisfying! ✅
Not your typical #transformationtuesday post.. A year ago today I won $1,000 for dancing in my basement. I was the biggest skeptic there was about Beachbody's newest program at the time @countryheatdance and almost skipped the preview. But @taniathemachine hyped it up so much that I decided to give it a go and thank goodness I did!
Little did I know that my little peanut was already dancing along with me. Fast forward to 10 months later and me and my peanut were doing country heat together every morning to get Mommy moving and ease her back into her workouts. Most days Mattea made me hold her and we danced together. This program will always hold a special place in my heart because I think of it as "our" program.
Tonight @autumncalabrese is speaking on our team machine call. Talk about full circle! While I can't hop on the call live because Mattea and I have to go to a baptism class I'm super pumped to listen to the playback.

Who wants this cookbook?! I feel like I often discuss how invaluable the accountability group I run is. Perhaps I sound like a broken record and it may seem a little silly, but knowing I have to show up there for my challengers keeps me on track with my workouts and my nutrition. A lot of cheering on, a lot of positivity, it's just a good vibe! I love it. Good cookbooks also aid in the nutrition front; so guess what I am going to do?! We all instinctively know that when we take time for ourselves to pursue our passions, do the things that we enjoy, relax or even do nothing at all, we end up happier, healthier and feeling better. I got it in my head today that I wanted to go for a run, (keep in mind that I live in Florida and it's been 147 degrees all week) ☀️☀️☀️
But, since it was cloudy all afternoon I decided to go for it. Well, I have been wanting to train Radley to run with me, so I wanted to take him, too, but I couldn't find his collar. Not to be deterred, I decided to use the harness we used to use on Atticus...so once I wrestled him into that and adjusted it to his size, (which probably took me 15 minutes) I grabbed a plastic bag in case of 💩, a bottle of water in case he got too hot, and my earphones. #dogmomoftheyear
I then did the "Atticus stays, Radley comes" dance out the door, while holding Radley's leash, the water, my phone, and the 💩 bag...finally got to the gate...and BOOM...it started pouring down rain and lightning ⛈⛈⛈
SO I had to drag Radley, who was doing a rain dance, back into the house and wrestle him out of the harness while Atticus jealously jumped around us. I started to call it a day and just skip my workout BUT I literally just wrote down my goals today, and one of them was to get cardio in every day until Summit (in 17 days 🙌🏻) SO I pulled out my laptop and did my favorite workout from Country Heat which ALWAYS puts this smile on my face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't feel like I did my best this morning, so after work I did #countryswing again! Wow did I feel the difference and burned 100+ calories more by giving my all! Even with the small space and my pups in the way, I got my workout in and it was good 💪🏻👌🏻 #teamliftandbelifted
