There was a time when I would use my words to tell my husband I loved him, but unbeknownst to me, other words coming out of my mouth were not saying the same thing. I didn't realize it, and it negatively impacted our relationship. It wasn't until I got some marriage coaching that I realized the ways I was making him feel inadequate.

Day #26 of 30 Days of Gratitude - I'm sure some (most) of you are tired of me posting these everyday #sorrynotsorry but lucky for you there's only a few days left 😉👍🏻😛😂 Dance of any form would have to be my favorite form of expression. While I love to doodle, color, dabble in DIY projects and sing (loudly, in the car/shower, by myself lol), Dance has always held a special place in my heart for allowing me to express myself without words. Pole dance fitness especially ❤️ I am so grateful for dance as a form of expression because it has helped me meet so many friends just by doing something that makes me feel alive ☺️💕 I stepped away from pole dancing years ago because getting to class with a clingy baby at home was just not easy. And pole dance at home is fun, but there is nothing quite as empowering as taking a class and learning a routine and playing around with my fellow pole sisters. I like it when the 1st is on Mondays because it's like a double start new kind of day. I've decided (after doing some research) that I am going to be doing 21 day fix but with modifications to the program since I am pregnant. If I need a rest day I'll take it, I'll be following the modifier a lot more (which will be hard for me mentally), any exercise that requires me to be on my back I will modify that with a plank or something depending on the move. I might even substitute Country Heat for the cardio days (I can barely do those days not pregnant 😂). As far the container part goes (this is the research part) I did the calculator for 21 day fix as trying to maintain my weight instead of lose and that put me in the second to most calorie intake and my goodness I don't even think I eat that much now. I'll listen to my body and if I'm hungry I'll eat and if I can't eat anymore then I'll stop eating. I don't think I'm going to have any trouble putting on a healthy amount of weight this way. I'm going to mainly focus on controlling portions. I'm also starting a 31 day no sugar added challenge that @healthygrocerygirl is doing. It's going to be hard for me but I want to stick to it. I need a challenge and I think these two are perfect. It's #Whole30#Day10 and I'm still going strong!
Have I mentioned how much I love these spiral zucchini "noodles?" I do. Maybe it's a texture thing, maybe my brain is tricked into thinking they really are noodles, I don't know. But they're awesome.
Lunch today is a medium spiralized zucchini sauteed in coconut oil, and some leftover beef roast. Yum.
I intended to give myself a few days to get used to this eating plan then start another round of #countryheat workouts, but I decided I want to see what #W30 will do for me on its own - plus I'm getting lots of activity and plenty of #sweating as I work on my gardens and on projects around the house.
Speaking of activity, I finally ordered a box of Whole30-compliant Larabars for when I'm on the go and get hungry. I wanted to avoid anything that might trigger a candy/candy bar craving, but ya can't beat the convenience of having those bars in the purse or car. It could mean the difference between staying on the plan and ending up in the McD's drive thru.
Apparently days 10-11 have proven to be the days when people are most likely to quit their Whole30. Me? Heck no! I'm 1/3 of the way through! THIS gal is NOT sending all that progress down the drain.

• 3 oz deli roast beef
•1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
•1/2 cup shredded carrots
•1/2 cup beans (I used garbanzo)
•1 cup lettuce
•2 tbsp Greek Yogurt Ranch
Layer in the order listed! The only exception is if you are not using a container for the dressing (I used my 21 Day Fix Orange) place the dressing on the bottom on the jar.

Being a mommy has made me the happiest I've ever been and I adore my babies and would do anything for them👨👩👧👧 That's what lead me to Beachbody and the 21day fix after I had Catie and again after I had Ryleigh to country heat and of course my beloved shakeology!
My children deserve the best and I was not even close to being happy or healthy or anything close to the best mom I could be.

Piyo Day 31 at 5:30am this morning! Now on to kicking this Wednesday and all the things I have to get done in the butt!!! 👊.
And why do I look all goofy happy pointing at my shirt, well because it is a huge NSV (non-scale victory) for me! My mom bought me that size Small workout tank about a year ago and I couldn't even get it on. Has my scale changed since then...well maybe 5-7lbs but my scale likes to go up and down and all around depending on the day and time of month! Fitting into this tank was just confirmation that my hard work and consistency is paying off whether the scale reflects it or not!.
Measuring success doesn't have to be a number; it can be as simple as a tanktop, a smaller pair of pants, a pair of pants that were once tight now fitting, or just how you feel!! And that last one is really not a "JUST", it's HUGE! The way you feel physically and mentally is the greatest reward on this journey!.
We all want to see changes in our bodies and on that thing called the scale, but focus on the changes in your emotions and how you feel about yourself when you stay consistent!! The first thing I notice when I give in to old & bad habits is how crappy I feel about myself! It's like the junk food goes straight to a place in my brain that screams self-doubt! Focus on the small changes and rejoice in the big ones that can only be felt on the inside and radiant on the outside; like being more confident, more understanding (I am a lot more patient when I take care of myself), the feeling of accomplishment after each and every workout, knowing that you are doing this for you not because you hate the body you are in but because you love it and want to take care of it!! ❤️
