Keeping track of your progress is sooooooo important. When you begin to see results it motivates you to continue pushing forward. Many people give up easily because they show up at the gym aimlessly without a plan or any goals. I'm not even close to where I wanna be yet, but I'm on my way! Day in and day out! 🍄Garlic, minced or powder
🍄Himalayan Salt & Black Pepper
🍄Walnut Oil, for garnish
In a pot sauté the onions, garlic, butter & mushrooms. Add the broth and bring this to a simmer. Add this mixture to a blender (I used my Vitamix) and blend until smooth, add the hwc and blend again. Pour the cream of mushroom back to the pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve this with a drizzle of walnut oil or olive oil & some cracked fresh black pepper. Enjoy! 😋

Patterns of movement 101.
Go to any "rah rah" Orange Theory class or "enter cool name that implies spot reduction that won't do shit" class and you'll see people sweating and cursing every word in the most updated Urban Dictionary. What you won't find, are clients getting long term results. Here we have the lovely @alexaadams3 Hinging, Squatting, pressing, pulling, uni-lateral step-ups, and some isolation work for her glute med aka side butt. Guess what'll happen in the next 3-6 months? She's going to get into the best shape of her life because she works hard and is SHOWING UP. We will overload these patterns by challenging her to set 1,5,10 & 20-rep PR's. I'll stop any movement when the form gets too sloppy. We will rest appropriately during heavier sets (3-5-minutes). I'll challenge her to get metabolic stress at the end of her workouts (band-walks til it burns), and she will WINNING THE WEEK. Results aren't bought on Amazon Prime or an aerobics class, their earned by SHOWING UP! Here's something extra awesome about training properly.... we won't focus entirely on diet (fat loss is 80% diet- who the hell made that stupid saying up anyways?) As long as she's eating her body weight in protein and drinking enough water, that's all we stress- it'll all fall into place without saying CARBS ARE BAD, or NO SUGAR, or DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL. Nope, the workouts and SHOWING UP will suffice. 💪🏻💪🏻🍑🍑🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Made it to my final week of BBG w/ my goal of 7-8 weeks. Due to 💰 & my upcoming vaca, I'll be taking a break from the app but continuing to incorporate all of Kayla's amazing workouts. when you finish a 3 hour hike, get to the bottom to find out the park restaurant has a vegan veggie burger🙋🏼🙏 seriously did the coolest/hardest/scariest thing I've ever done in my life today. if you are ever near Zion national park, the "angels landing" hike is an absolute must. no better feeling than pushing yourself and seeing what you are capable of. btw this burger was bomb af
