💥Embarrassed 😬 and PROUD to post these pictures..... 💥Today marks my 2 year anniversary with my Beachbody workouts 🏋🏻♀️! 💥An EXTREMELY hard decision to make- was to tell my Dr. I was going to lose 10 pounds and change my "diet" in order TO NOT GO ON prescription medications 💊 for HIGH CHOLESTEROL. 💥 Fortunately, he gave me 3 months to try.... within those 3 months I dropped 19 lbs and 12 inches! My cholesterol also was lowering... 💥 Fast forward to 2 years, and my weight has dropped ⬇️ to 22 lbs lost and my inches down to ⬇️ 15.5 lost. 💥 Cholesterol is down and still no Medication. My mind and body are still changing for the better. It's not always about losing weight, but building self confidence. It's not a "DIET" it's a LIFESTYLE! NO GIMMICKS. 💥Who's ready for a change?!?!? It's a fajita kinda night. I love to order fajitas when we go out to eat...something about that sizzling hot pan and the warm tortillas 😋 But We don't go out to eat much now (a family of 6 can really rack up a restaurant bill) so I have been trying to make some of our [my] favorite meals at home plus they are cheaper and healthier. I honestly have never made fajitas before but these were just as yummy!
Here's a little "cheese and charcuterie" 🧀🥖 action. Don't forget about the most simple combinations, they can be the most satisfying. Having a late afternoon 🕓 snack keeps me from hangry 😣notions around dinner time when I'm trying to feed 5 kids 3 different things (really? Another quesadilla... Tell me I'm not alone🤦🏻) before I get to stuff my face. Plus, keeping the protein, fats, and carbs balanced keeps my macro chart 📊 even steven which makes meeting my numbers easier at the end of the day. 👊

2 years ago I was at an all-time low. I was overweight, unhappy and couldn't find anything that really worked for me. I went out on a limb and bought a Beachbody Program ( @21dayfix ) from a complete stranger I followed on Instagram. Little did I know that buying that program and joining a challenge group would change my life. I joined the group, I worked out every day, I drank the shake, I changed how I ate and it worked! I lost weight but I gained a community of people that were in it along with me. I felt AMAZING! And I wanted to pay it forward. I signed up to be a Beachbody Coach not knowing anything about it, other than I got a discount 😉 But what I quickly learned is that by sharing my journey and being vulnerable and real, it inspired others to change the way they looked at their heath and fitness too. I watched women and men transform their lives and become a healthier version of themselves. I joined Beachbody to better myself and I have ten-fold! I became a part of a team of amazing women who build each other up and love what they do. We truly are a family. But one of my main reasons I joined is my family. I wanted to be a good healthy example to my kids, to help my husband live a healthier life and to bring in a little extra income. I may not be a top coach or make enough to quit my job and stay home like others have, but I'm making a difference and that's all that matters to me. I am stronger, healthier and happier because of Beachbody. And that complete stranger who I bought a program from 2 years ago? She's become one of my best friends. Funny how the world works. I've experienced amazing opportunities that I never would have before: meeting celebrity trainers, having my weightloss journey shared for others to read, be in an infomercial! None of that would have happened if it weren't for Beachbody. So Thank You Beachbody for changing my life in more ways than one. And because of all this, I will always be Team Beachbody ❤

This one made me cry today! That girl on the left couldn't even fake a real smile 😞 This was at my 30th surprise party. I was so self conscious, so uncomfortable in my skin and felt like I had just lost all hope of ever being happy with myself. Having energy and feeling good!
I have NEVER before been someone who was remotely interested in fitness and my health in general. I begrudgingly started watching calories in January and in February decided to try the gym. I could have never imagined I would seriously have fallen in love with working out and looking forward to my gym time everyday.
So my point is this. If you are tired, feel weak doing the simplest things, feel totally intimidated by the gym and the thought of working out... I DID TOO!! But here is the thing jumping in and doing it is the only way you are going to beat feeling so tired and just bad! I know it sounds crazy, I thought that too. How is working out going to make me less exhausted?! Well it does because you are taking care of your body and in turn it will start taking care of you!
Start small, start somewhere, just decide today is the day! Not someday... TODAY 💗
Oh Timehop! Sometimes you bring up ALL the feels! This picture was exactly 1 year ago - I was 18+ weeks preggo and enjoying our Baby Moon! Not many know this but we had SO much more to celebrate during our trip.
You see, 2 weeks prior my OB called with results from my quad screen that literally made me throw up - our baby had a higher than usual chance of having Downs Syndrome. I was NOT expecting anything like this. Not after the miscarriage.
I was referred to a high risk specialist immediately for a level 2 ultrasound and further testing. Since there were no markers or signs of Downs on the ultrasound, we opted out of the invasive amnio and decided to get a non-invasive blood test that's over 99% accurate. That combined with regular level 2 ultrasounds were enough reassurance for us.
I had to wait a week and a half for the results. I hardly slept, barely ate, couldn't focus on anything, I cried myself to sleep every night just in agony waiting. It was torture.
It just so happened to be Good Friday when I FINALLY got the call that my blood test results were normal and my baby was ok. I will NEVER forget that moment for as long as I live. I cried, again, but this time tears of pure joy.
We were leaving the next morning for our trip - a trip that I almost cancelled - and it was God's perfect timing. 🙏🏻❤ Things have a way of working out. If you're battling something yourself, trust in His timing and have faith, Friend. ❤❤❤
