I guess posting failure takes some level of maturity. Didn't really feel like working out last night 🤷🏾♀️ Chugged some pre-workout, put on some nice 🎵🎶, ate some fruit, put on my new shorts, and left for the gym. I knew everything was a wash when 275 lbs felt harder than it should and I struggled to push 295 when it was relatively easy last week. Tried 305 lbs (97% 1RM) anyway.
I have trouble actively recruiting muscle groups with my lifting shoes on. On my first attempt I got to the bottom and just couldn't recruit anything to push with. Second attempt felt better at the bottom until I let the bar roll forward ➡️ fail. Third attempt I knew wasn't gonna make it as soon as I started descending.
I'm not upset because I went in feeling less than 100%. I'm not one to fail squats, so better now than in a meet. Taking this as a reason to push harder 💪🏿
Walk your walk no matter what. To some extent, we all struggle with comparing ourselves to other in one way or another. This leaves us feeling inadequate as if we have to live up to a certain standard. We were all made extremely unique and I challenge you to find someone who is 100% the same as you. I think I've said this in many of my last posts but, we all die someday. Meaning, stay in your lane and do your thing and don't worry about what anyone else has to say about it. We got life to live people!!!

This week has been a doozy! Work has been insane, we have had stuff going on everyday after work, Zach has had work events almost every night, all while we are trying to get our basement painted. Needless to say, my workouts have been neglected...and I can TELL! I have been feeling more stressed and more tired during the day and I need to get myself back on track. So my next challenge group is starting this Monday so we can hit the ground running.

Perfect example of how your mood changes from before a workout and after. Ok so i didn't take a before picture. I was in a "mood" so I simulated one.
We landed just after 4am this morning from Vegas to Orlando. Somehow my sunglasses were lost between placing them into the x-ray machine at the Las Vegas airport and coming out the other end. 😩 Back in FL with no sunglasses (they are suppose to call if they find them.) Got home around 6am, slept for a good 5 hours, went to work for a bit and then went and got my workout done @orangetheoryfitnessnmelbourne. Juhuu ihr lieben😜 Grüße aus dem Bett mit nur noch einem offenem Auge 😜😂😂... Ich bin so müde von diesem Tag, aber er war sehr schön 😍...Erst war ich im Praktikum mit Unikram beschäftigt, dann ging es mittags in die City nach Köln und habe mal vor dem Training mein Glück bei @mcfitmodels probiert 😊✌️. Danach wurde selbstverständlich noch trainiert 💪😍 das anschließende Cardiotraining wurde mit einer fünf stündigen Shoppingtour mit @saraahels erledigt 😂😂😂 Mit vier großen Tüten, Hunger bis zum Mond und zurück ging es dann ins neue @kittichai_official nach Köln und ich muss euch sagen, dass da👆👆👆 war nur eins von vielen Gerichten und sie waren alle mega spitze und das Ambiente erst 😱😱😱 #ichkommeausdemschwärmengarnichtmehrraus 💛💚💜💙 völlig entspannt und zufrieden ging es dann mit 4 Tüten bepackt zum Parkhaus, blöd nur wenn das Parkhaus schon zu hat 😱😫🙈🙈🙈... das war's dann mit der Entspannung 😰. The past two days I've put in close to 20 hours of work at my office job for a presentation. When I got done with it today I wanted nothing more than to go lay on the couch and toss on some Netflix before my lash appointment tonight. But I knew better. If I skipped tonight, I wouldn't have accomplished these insane 8 second hold knee pushups. So I pushed play and made that ish happen 🤘🏼🔥 and I'm so pumped I did. Now to go get prettied with my favorite lash girl 💁🏻

Your mentality is everything! That's why I preach we train both our bodies and your minds. Never ignore one nor the other. Again, YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE but you gotta BELIEVE IT FIRST!👊🏽 Go get it chingones!
