ADOPT OR FOSTER (all expenses paid and short-term) LIL DEBBIE!
Located at the #Manhattan Center. Must RESERVE the publicly adoptable dog BEFORE 12PM ET tomorrow 6-28-2017; otherwise she most likely will be euthanized by the NYC ACC.
My name is #LILDEBBIE#A1116275 . I am a #spayed female black and white american staff mix. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old. I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 06/23/2017 due to an OWN EVICT. I came in with my son, KIKO.
A volunteer writes: A tiny little black and white #peanut , Lil Debbie was surrendered with her son (Kiko #A1116274 ) when their owner lost their home. She’s a little lost and unsure, but #happy to be out for a #walk and make a new friend. Once we’ve established I’m a friend, Lil D (for short) put her #paws on my shoulders for some #hugs and #kisses . We’re told she’s #great with young #kids , not good with small dogs as she’s had some unfortunate incidents with smalls, has played #submissively with other dogs, doesn’t like #cats , loves baths, will bark and growl if someone knocks on the door but is #friendly with all, is #housetrained , #crate trained, loves stuffed #toys , and knows several #commands . In the park, Lil D posed for some pictures, enjoyed watching the park’s activities, and watched #quietly as I took some pictures of another dog. She showed off her sit, took treats #gently , and every once in a while flashed her gorgeous smile. A #calm and #gentle little girl, Lil D is making the best of an unfortunate situation; she’s lost her family, her son, her home–all in one fell swoop. I promised her she’d find a new family to #love , so please help me make my promise to her come true.
