"Our children are our garden. They absorb our stress, just as they absorb our peace. They absorb our negativity just as they absorb our joy. And we have the power to control what they absorb, but first, we must tend to ourselves." Powerful!! Check out an excerpt from a blog post....please take a few minutes and read it.
Dear one, you have feelings. They are worth listening to and acknowledging.
You have limits. They are necessary to keep in place as a means of valuing your time and honoring your health.
You have dreams. You are worthy of time to pursue what makes your heart come alive.
You have needs. You deserve affection, rest, sustenance, and grace.
Perhaps you forgot that it is necessary to look after YOU. It’s okay. I forget too. But we still have today. Thank God, we still have today.
Today let’s tend to ourselves as we do our loved ones. Perhaps we can make it a habit. We’ll never know how much we can grow and flourish until we take time to tend to what is most precious. ***

Experiences are only meaningful if you actually let them evolve into a meaning right? If we let ourselves grow, learn and evolve the pain and challenges we face will eventually feel like silver linings and lessons. But truthfully at the time they can still suck. But every day I still choose to face up to growth, observe the challenges and try to reflect and learn, it's important and I truly believe as humans it's the only way we make that meaning, that purposeful life. #quote#grow#bestrong#learn#evolve#inspiringquotes#quoteoftheday#thoughts#musing

What is the purpose of being human and alive without doing new things? John Sulston // Once you break free from this mold of trying to be perfect, and instead you try to be more human, you will inevitably want to take more risks. Now, I’m not saying you’ll go crazy with the risk taking. You'll want to try a lot more new things, and I believe it’s because you’ll become more concerned with discovery and less about the "how."

Stepping into the light💫 is leaving old patterns and ways behind. It is listening to your inner guide and doing what feels good for you. It is taking care of yourself in order to thrive, not just survive☀️. Come out of the darkness and into the light!
Most people look at competitors and will go against them. Do the reserve - collaborate with them. Together, you can help each other grow and dip in to some of their audience to join your audience. Leverage each other's skills and audience to grow.
Another rainy day, but Jessa will play outside in any weather which always makes the day a little brighter 🌸. I'm so glad her preschool has such a big focus on nature and outdoor play. We would probably all feel better with more of a focus on that. ☂️
I spent my entire life desperately trying to figure out my true desires and life purpose. The harder I tried, the more stuck, lost and confused I felt.
Books made me list my strengths. I spent hours thinking about what I did happily as a child (read? play dress up? pretend I was a star on stage?), stressing about how I could make money from reading. Or maybe quit it all and move to Hollywood? Perhaps in another life.
But the problem with trying to figure out my true desires and life purpose was entirely that. I was trying to figure it out.
Desire doesn't come from the head. It comes from the heart. Purpose doesn't come from analyzing anything, but from following your flow.
It's about tuning in to how you feel and creating your life in reflection of that.
It's about releasing the need to grip and control and force and instead flow. Allow yourself to drift. Follow your heart's desires instead of the desires of everyone around you.
Drifting is the hardest part. It's human nature to want to grip and control. Fear that if we just follow the flow, we'll end up abandoned in a corner nibbling on peanuts while everyone else slurps champagne.
This fear comes from the unloved child within. The fear that you are not held and supported. The same fear that has you clinging on to everyone around you like a life raft because you don't think you have within you what it takes to save yourself.
You cling and grip and hope that will save you, but all that does is take you further from your truth and so you grip and cling some more.
You've got to trust. Let go. Drift. I know it feels scary, but you've got to embrace that fear, close your eyes and leap.
Ignite the light of blind faith and tune into your heart with the knowing that your life has meaning and value.
You'll find your life purpose when you connect to your desires. You'll connect to your desires when you make it your top priority to understand that you are worthy without doing or being anything more than you already are.
What makes you happy, what heals your heart, what feels like medicine to your soul, is also the medicine the world needs. But first you've got to... Continued in comments
