QUESTION TIME RESPONSE
Morning my lovelies! It's another day and another question. This one comes from @ardey_ronke who asks "How did you become this good with God? I am trying to find my feet in Christ. I want to burn for him too." I smile at this question because honestly, I think I am only scratching the surface with God. However, the Holy Spirit is showing me that even though I may not be where I want to be, someone else is wanting to be where I am now.
The simple answer @ardey_ronke is that I have spent time with God and I am hungry for more of Him. I've had days where all I do is sit in bed with my bible, my iPad and a devotional.
I study the word of God every day or almost every day as there are one or two days when I just physically can't. I don't just read it like a story book but make notes on what the verses are saying to me. I use bible study guides or bible plans that can be found on the bible app by @youversion
The more I study, the more I know God and how He works. This helps me know what is going in my life especially the things that may not make sense naturally.
I also pray the bible verses I read. One thing I have learnt is that God's Word is His will so I pray His Word so that His will is done in my life.
The more I have studied the Word, prayed and talked to God, the more I have grown. Think about it like this. You can't know your friend if you don't talk to them and relate with them regularly right? So also it is with growing in God and knowing Him more.
I also love to worship God with songs. They set my spirit on fire. One song I love is 'please don't let me go the same way I came, touch me with Your hands, Jesus!" Another one is by @victoriaorenze called "set my heart on fire for you"
I can say categorically that those 2 songs get me in the Spirit ALL the time. They capture the words and hunger of my heart.
The more you ask for God to help you, the more you study His Word, the more you'll "burn" too
How do I know this? Because Matthew 7:7-8 says so.

If you have a moment watch this short video. It explains how much we as human beings are worth. Never forget how much you are truly worth. We may not fill like we're at the top of the world at times but anything negative is only temporary. We must always love ourselves through tough times and remind ourselves that we are worth so much to those who love us. Out self value is what comes first, always love and respect yourself
The past month has been a real trying time for me. Many things have broken my spirit and filled me with negativity and depression. At times you just want everything to end, to feel nothing, to hear and see no more. Everything just gets to you, and you go into defensive attack or shut down inside. But inside there is strength and reason. Though you may not think or feel it, you are capable of enduring so much adversity!!! Recenter, refocus, regain....reinvent if needed. Days can either slip by with a frown, or be conquered with a smile! This list is our building block to bliss and serenity #depression#happiness#reclaiminglife#lifelessons#nevergiveup

If you’re preoccupied with “what ifs” and worst-case scenarios, worry becomes a problem. Unrelenting doubts and fears can be paralyzing.
They can sap your emotional energy, send your anxiety levels soaring, and interfere with your daily life.
Thinking about all the things that could go wrong doesn’t make life any more predictable. You may feel safer when you’re worrying, but it’s just an illusion.
Focusing on worst-case scenarios won’t keep bad things from happening. It will only keep you from enjoying the good things you have in the present.
So if you want to stop worrying, start by tackling your need for certainty and immediate answers.
The idea of CHANGE can make us break into a cold sweat. Why? Because it always pushes us out of our COMFORT ZONE. So very often we are STUCK in a situation, relationship, job or city where we are so UNHAPPY, that LIFE has lost it's LUSTER. But somehow we PERSIST in staying in this unhappy state. There are many psychological reasons for our FEAR of leaving or changing a LIFE SAPPING situation, but for now...KNOW that there is nothing that is holding you back from TAKING CHARGE and CHANGING your JOYLESS state. You have FREE WILL and you can DECIDE how much more you are WILLING to take. Be BRAVE and BOLD and if necessary, SEEK HELP. STRONG people know when they need help. Have a great Thursday! Love, Nadia💛💖 #changeisgood#bebrave#bebold#thursdaymotivation ❤️ #lifecoaching#lifecoachinghappiness#lifelessons#instagram#instadaily#instagood#freewill#unhappy
Throwback to when Archer was just 2 days old... (WARNING LONG POST!)
When I found out I was pregnant it was the BEST and WORST moment of my life. I had taken 3 home tests and confirmed it with a blood test but I still couldn't believe I was actually pregnant.
I cried, because I was shocked. I cried, because I was happy. I cried, because I was scared.
My husband at the time and I were not on good terms. We were home in Australia visiting our families and things happened to where he left to go back to Michigan where we were living at the time 2 weeks before me. I found out I was pregnant after he had left.
Finding out you're pregnant when your marriage is not in the best place is hard, yet ever the romantic and optimist that I am I thought maybe this could change things. Maybe when he finds out he will be just as happy and excited as I am.
The phone call I placed to my ex regarding my pregnancy sent me on a roller coaster journey of emotions for months to come.
He was not happy. He was not excited. In fact he told me it was the worst news I could have given him. Yet for some reason I still clung onto the idea that things could be better. I didn't realise until much later that in fact I was dealing with a narcissist and he was in the process of discarding me.
I flew back from Melbourne to Michigan pregnant. I had no family and only a couple of close friends (but thank goodness for them!). I spent the next almost 4 months killing myself emotionally trying to fix an unfixable marriage... a marriage that was never really a real marriage. At least not for him.
I spent day after day wondering what I was going to do. Could I keep the baby? Should I keep the baby? Was it fair?
I spent hours each day at a park near my old apartment in Michigan. Sometimes I would sit in the car, sometimes I would walk around the park either in silence or I would call my friend Debra @debradorn_azahar and just talk to her about how I was feeling and how lost I was. Or I would call my family or other friends.

I used to wake up every day and go to work - but I would go to work on someone else dream. I would work 40 hours a week in an office on someone else dream.
Then I started practising capoeira and I got hooked, it was the only thing I looked forward to come Monday morning.
One day my capoeira teacher @marinhoparafina said: “Coreana, necessito tu ayudo! "Ulla, I need your help." I was honored and I felt special that he came to me. I didn’t really consider myself a great designer, but I had studied graphic design and had earned myself a degree. Enough to land a job as a web designer creating adverts in Flash. That’s all I did - all day long 8 hours a day. So when my Capoeira teacher, came to me and asked me for help, I felt useful and I started believing in myself, because he believed in me.
The thing is, I would go to work every day and do my job because someone paid me to do a specific task every day. But theres a tremendous difference in getting paid to do a task to work on someone else dream, than to use your own skills to help others because someone believes in you - I was willing to do that for free.
I did the flyer - and after that I designed his logo and then I redid his website, so after work, I would stay in the office until 10-11pm some nights and chat with wordpress support people to help him live his dream.
My point is, I used to work for someone else because I didn’t know my own dreams, when really all I should have been doing was to WORK on finding my passion and defining my own life, so that I could go to work for me.
I truly believe that every single person out there is creative and entrepreneurial by heart, we just don’t know it. We just haven’t cultivated that side of us because we're busy.
We have all these grand and noble aspirations, but we are stumped because of the lack of confidence in our abilities. So we just say we don't have the time because its convenient.
I started @learnwithlocals from a desire to help you learn new skills. For you to share your passion and for us all to be inspired.

I was suppose to leave for Portland and Seattle this week but plans changed and Im ok with that but as I sit here rescheduling, I began to look over my first solo road trip in April. I did a lot of "confesional" style recording and this is probably my favorite. I was already so excited about this trip little did I know how memorable it would really be. There is something so powerful about being with yourself and embracing EVERYTHING you are, have been (mistakes, flaws and all) and aspire to be. Yes, I did get a little emotional but I think it's because during that 7 hour drive, I really got to thinking about everything I've overcome. I'm also laughing because some of these videos are hilarious, not sure what I was thinking, but I must have thought I was trying out for standup (no worries, you'll be spared) 😂Live a little, live a lot, it doesn't matter just live! Make everyday count and most important, live for you. #thisis32 🐝 #lifelessons#live#learn#travel#solotravel#roadtrip#journey#destination#adventureisoutthere#az#sanorandesert#amaturerecording#memories

Until you begin to show forth that limitless power in you, I will not rest.
Until you speak and act life from within you, I will not stop hitting you with goodness.
