Even though today I run an incredible business, get on live video with ease & host a podcast where I interview top experts, -- I spent my early life trying to stay out of the spotlight.
I sat there in 8th grade English, quiet & withdrawn, when my teacher decided to give us all an end of the year assignment. •
She read the name of each student, while we wrote down something nice about that person. She then cut out all the little pieces of paper, laminated them, and handed them to us.
I looked down at my paper, and it didn't say, "Natural born leader," "Fantastic personality," "Smart AND gorgeous!" .... it said, "Nice." "Really nice." "Nice person."
"Nice" was all they could write because I never actually let people know me. I didn't speak up. In group work, I quietly did the bulk of the work, while everyone else joked around. •
I had the ability to hustle, but I also had a strong desire to fly under the radar and be as invisible as possible. ... Quite different from the person I've worked hard to become today. •
The deal is - you know there is greatness inside of you. You feel it. I know you do.
Letting it out, and living authentically can feel terrifying. ..It's also the most freeing thing you can do. PERMISSION TO EXPLORE YOU & REINVENT YOURSELF. •
There is nothing more powerful than standing in your glorious truth. When you do that you give others permission to do the same.❤️
Fueling our morning workout with some complex carbs and berries!
After a disappointing week for weight loss (I gained! 😭), I am tweaking my meal plan a little and trying something new.
My weight loss has been a lot of trial and error, and while it can get discouraging sometimes, I am determined to learn as much as I can to reach my goals and help others do the same! 😘
🌷What would YOU do if you got an extra paycheck?🌷 Thanks to the money we made with Beachbody, Mr. Iverson and I had a fun afternoon date at The Painted Plate, painting our own ceramics! It was so fun to get out and do something new together!
Because we have 5 kids at home and are used to living paycheck to paycheck, it kind of goes against the grain to go out on a date without the munchkins. But it was amazing to go out and make our marriage a priority, and to actually have the means to do it! ❤
Idk, I really think these Beachbody programs DO NOT work.... what do you think? 😉 -
......see that picture on the far left? That was me a year and a half ago....see that picture on the far right...the week 9 of p90x one? Yeah that's me this morning!...
....it's amazing what happens when you get rid of the excuses, have AMAZING support from fellow people/coaches and just start putting YOU FIRST!...
...So let me ask AGAIN... there is 88 days left till Summer... -
....Do YOU want to feel and look your best by then?.... -
...I KNOW I DO! FOR MYSELF AND YOU! ....
.... join me why don't you?
I go through stages where I just hibernate and go MIA on social media
To be honest, the break is always nice
But time to get back on the grind 💪🏼
I don't post workout selfies and videos and all that jazz for applause or anything of the sort
I simply post it because it helps me stay accountable .
It may sound silly to some but after taking a break from social media platforms I kinda just said eff it with my workouts
I never realized how much I depended on my amazing group to keep me going and accountable .
So here we go... again. .
Back to the daily workout snapshots and sweaty glistening selfies 🙌🏻
GRIT taping is coming and I think I've finally decided to commit to the FULL 21 day fix extreme--- because yes I even have a hard time finishing a 21 day program 🙈
Anyone that is looking for accountability or positivity and motivation join the new group coming! Nothing more then a fun community of like minded goal getters that will push you when you didn't even realize you needed it. .
Time to refocus on me.
Time to MASTER ME. .
Fridays are for 530 am GRIT practice, yoga in the kitchen (thanks #beachbodyondemand ) and an amazing brunch date with aunt Erika and little miss ❤
Happy Friday friends ✌🏼
Guys!! It's a good freakin' day!
So when I decided to take the leap and become a Beachbody Coach in September I took my first bit of income and went to shopping. My agenda was to get 2 new pairs of dress pants because all of mine had gotten too big.
Well then I stumbled upon these shorts. I've avoided jean shorts for a long time..why? Because they have no give and I was self conscious about my thighs. I preferred workout shorts because they were elastic and I could hide under them.
Well I decided to grab this pair of shorts because 1. They were $4.99 and 2. Maybe I had lost enough weight to feel confident. I was WRONG. The biggest size they had left barely fit over my hips, the button was nowhere close to being able to button, and my thighs looked like stuffed sausages just begging me to take the damn shorts off. Instead of being super discouraged, I decided to buy them. They became my new motivation. By summer, I WOULD ROCK THESE SHORTS!
In the shuffle of moving I kind of forgot about them. I'm currently trying to pack to head to Alabama for 8 days so was on a hunt for some shorts. I stumbled across these and thought "I wonder..." so I threw them on.
THEY FIT! These sucker are going in my bag and I'm gunna rock them at the beach and feel freaking confident about it!! Today I'm thankful for $5 shorts, my Tribe to motivate me to keep going, this Coaching opportunity Beachbody has given me, my newfound confidence in my body, and the fact that I'm leaving behind 30 degree weather for 80 degree weather!
You know what's pretty damn near impossible!? Taking a cute selfie while drenched in sweat... well, at least for me it's impossible! 😂😂I look at a lunatic. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ ANYWAY.
Today was LEG day. My favorite day to hate. It hurts so good and I'm 99% sure my legs are now jello rather than flesh and bones. #ThanksPlyoLunges All the pain and sweat are SO WORTH IT when I see my legs toning up! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 it's an indescribable feeling to start seeing all your hard work pay off 😊😊 Day 4/21 (I started counting over this week since I had a bit of a lazy weekend that was filled with too many cheat meals and not enough workouts. I love being in charge of my own workout schedule because I can do what I want. 💁🏼💁🏼) #21dfx#lowerextreme#killedit#misfittribe#misfitrepublic#teambeachbody#summeriscoming#ohSHIT#sweatyselfie#sweatinmyeyeballs
Despite some major technical difficulties and fighting the urge to quit, I got through my Total Body Cardio this evening!! I'm a sweaty mess and I'm proud off myself for not giving up ☺ These doubled up days sure are pushing me 😰💪😧
Cuddle sesh with my girl while I drink Energize for my workout and read a little PD.
This is my first time trying Beachbody's version of pre-workout so stay tuned for what I think!
First impression: tastes like homemade lemonade I would buy on the side of the road! 😍🍋
We have been loving our yoga mornings, but sometimes you just need to work up a sweat! Thanks to the All Access Pass, we were able to try out 22 Minute Hard Corps this morning, and we freaking LOVED it!!! I think we are gonna be sticking with this in the morning and save yoga for before bed!
We aren't called TEAM Iverson for nothing!
We hold each other accountable, drive each other to be successful, and support each other always. This is what makes our marriage work, and what helps us build our business!
We have DREAMS and GOALS, and working as a team is helping us reach them that much faster!
Alright, so I have so many people tell me that my workouts are too hard for them or that they are intimidated by my workouts. So I decided to use one of my break days to show you a fun, low impact program we have! Country heat is a dance based workout through beachbody. I clearly got a little lost on the last section of the dance, but I laughed it off. And for those of you that think you don't Burn enough calories with it-my Fitbit says differently! Wanna see some country heat results? Gonna posted them on my FB page! https://m.facebook.com/coach.noush/
