Why do I share my transformation?
Well, there are several reasons, but for me it’s mostly because OTHERS sharing THEIR journey’s really spoke to me when I was first deciding to make better choices in my life.
So for that, I want to pay it forward!
I want people to know that this is no quick fix, no overnight results, no pill to give me results… -It is daily commitment to my fitness of 30 minutes using at home personal trainers. -It is clean eating 80% of the time, allowing the other 20% of the time to go with the flow of life. It’s all about BALANCE!
-It is personal development to help transform my mind to be strong and overcome fears and excuses.
-It is using accountability of others in my fit tribe to stay on track and get back at it when I do fall off. -It is never missing a day of my amazing super food shake to decrease cravings, increase energy, give my body the nutrients it needs and fueling it right.
I will forever be that person measuring progress by pictures, the way I feel and the way my clothes fit, instead of the scale or inches, because I want to FEEL GOOD and I want YOU to know that you can feel good to without being a slave to the scale. So stop obsessing over it, find support and lets get YOU feeling good by SUMMERTIME.

Hard work is just that. Hard. There are so many people that want a quick fix, a magic pill, the easy way out. Not this girl. No way!
I'll take hard over a quick fix any day! With each workout I'm able to see how far I've come, how many more reps I'm able to finish. I'm able to celebrate small achievements and big ones, too!! It's such a great feeling!!

I put off my workout later than usual. I had excuses ruining through my head. Now the advice I tell my challengers is to just start. Just push play! So that's what I did. I pushed play.
The hardest part is just that. Starting. Once you get going though, it's over before you know it. And you feel like a million bucks!
Much like in the real world (work/school world) where hard work and dedication pay off. The same is true for wanting to lose weight/get healthier. There is no magic pill, no special drink or fad diet that will instantly make you skinnier/healthier. You work on yourself everyday. Sure you can take a supplement, but those are only to help you along, not be a magic fix to not doing anything at all. Sometimes we have really crappy days or weeks when we feel uncomfortable in our own skin. We see little to no progress in our fitness journey. We decide to take an "after picture" to see any hidden progress only to feel worse. We are our worse critics. But when ever you feel this way, just remember how far you have made it in your fitness journey and why you started. Seek progress not perfection.
These were my favorite pair of shorts, so much that I had several ones in different colors. I no longer can wear them. When I started out with getting healthy again these shorts were so tight that if I didn't change my lifestyle I was not only going to have to go up a size in all my clothes but I was going to have to deal with all those awful side effects of being overweight. Between my knees, asthma, & migraines I was a constant mess. No energy, moody and constantly sick. My health started to become a real issue.
My health was on such a rapid decline the toll of eating all the wrong foods and drinking everyday. I was spiraling into that toxic pattern with no end in sight. I was progressively getting sicker with increased asthma attacks & constant migraines. I had a battery of test including an MRI of my brain and it all came down to how I've been treating my body.
Both my doctor & eye doctor told me to completely overall my diet and lifestyle to get everything under control before they would send me to the neurologist.
That was my wake up call. I started to change everything immediately. Went to the gym which lasted about 3 months, it was so inconvenient in my life. Made some changes to my eating but not enough. Stopped drinking everyday and only had a few on weekends. That was the first step into my turn around. It worked until it didn't.
I knew I had to do something different this time. This is when I was introduced to 21 Day Fix, shakeology and all that Beachbody had to offer. That was my turning point that was the game changer. I have been working everyday to get to this point. To get back to healthy I've never looked back. I am proud to be a part of Beachbody. I am proud to share my struggles and wins and challenges. If I can help a few people to change for their own health benefits than I am successful. Then I have done something to make a difference.

As my muscles were screaming this morning and I thought about how crazy I am to get up this early to workout I thought, man it would be nice if there was an easier way to do this!! Today's workout wasn't my fave in the past, today I focused more on form and ended up enjoying it more than usual. Not all workouts are my jam, but I believe half of it is all mental
I bought this dress at the end of April, a size smaller than I should have. My goal was to be able to wear it comfortably by summer. Tried it on this morning and 🙌🏻 ! Still a little snug, but #nonscalevictory nonetheless!
Taking pride in what you do is something I've struggled with for a long time. I always felt like I shouldn't be proud of myself because someone was always doing the same thing except better. Playing the comparison game killed my confidence and kept me from living my best life. Thankful for people in my life who point out and celebrate my victories for me, forcing me to recognize my gifts and successes. 24lbs down, ~110lbs to go!
