'Accommodating Resistance' (using bands and chains) are most effective during exercises that have an ascending strength curve - SQUATS!💥 As you lower the bar the chains will pile onto the ground, removing their weight - and as you stand up the weigh of the chains is reapplied to the bar, thus increasing the resistance at the easiest portion of the movement helping to improve bar speed! Ok, we're back!
The last 2 months have been a crazy journey, full of failures and successes - super excited to share that I competed in my first #npcbikinicompetition at the @musclesportproduction #contracostashow on May 13. Although I took second place in my Novice Bikini class, I was more proud of losing 11lbs overall and going from 22% body fat down to about 14% -- while still gaining 1lb of muscle each week. I had a TON of guidance & support from @maxmuscleantioch - if you are thinking about competing, go talk to @1_p_and_b (Brenda) for help achieving your nutrition & weight loss goals.

This past month has been full of challenges. Instead of dwelling on the negative, I've focused my energy on the positive outcomes, lessons learned, and opportunities. Failure is never an option.
There is something that is to be said about someone who puts hard work into themselves. It shows self care and self love. It shows dedication and perseverance. It shows strength and will power. Something every man should have. -

Welp 15 weeks out. Currently feel softer than toilet paper. Feeling super motivated for the beginning of prep because I know what hard work can do (also bc spring awakening in 15 days😇) Nothing much else really to say😊 just back on track and happy to start the process again.
🔸I'm pretty sure I've said this before but i wanna go deeper into what it means. I've been listening to some seminars on success and this is a snippet into what I've learned -"Intentions mean nothing, results are everything."-
Everybody can have the intention to do something great but if you don't act on it it remains just that, an intention. Intention alone, all it does is give you a direction only you can put in the work to get real results and this goes for anything you do in life. In order to move from intentions to results you need to act on those intentions and see where thy take you. So with that in mind go do something great today!

Todo el mundo puede tener la intención de hacer algo espectacular pero si no haces nada con esa intención se quedará siendo una intención. Lo que hace la Intención es darte una dirección en la que puedas ir pero tu eres el único que puede hacer el trabajado para sacar los resultados y estos se aplica a todo lo que uno hace o pueda hacer en la vida. Haz el esfuerzo y ve donde esas intenciones te llevan. Entonces con eso en mente ve y haz algo increíble hoy!
