Immersion Day 1
A 15 miles bike ride in the Shark Valley 🚴🏻🦈
The temperature was around 80 to 90🔥🔥🔥(dying after the bike ride🌚)
The Shark Valley get its name for two reasons:
1️⃣Although the Shark Valley looks like an endless desert of grass🏜️, it is actually a part of a seasonal river which is 50 to 60 miles wide👀The river is called the River of Grass🌱 because most part of the river is cover by a kind of sage plant called Saw Grass.
The famous Shark River🦈 is also a part of the River of Grass, and it's connected to the Shark Valley. That's how the Shark Valley got the "Shark" from.
2️⃣Why is it a Valley then? It is so flat and wide, how can it be a Valley?
It is Valley, by scientific definition.....
The middle part of the Shark Valley, as shown in my photo, is about 2 meters(8 feet) above the sea level. And the altitude of the two rims of the Valley are about 7 meters and 5 meters, which is slightly higher than the middle part.🤓
Therefore, we have the Shark Valley✨✨✨
But it is really a slough😂
