First time actual srs training advice post: if I learned anything from weightlifting, (other than squatting daily without any posterior chain work causes kneebola) it's that you should try to make every rep look the same, irrespective of weight.
I'm finding it a little tougher in powerlifting since the absolute loads are higher and you can sometimes get away with more suboptimal technique, but the idea is still the same. I still have the same finishing position for the two deadlifts, but it's clear I'm losing some tightness in the back in the bottom of the lift and rushing it off the floor a little at the expense of good positioning for the lockout; definitely something to work on. It's fun to defile low % weights but I've found it can lead to some bad habits in both WL and PL once you get up to the weights that matter.
But I've also been powerlifting for like 3 months so what do I even know lel

First exercise, combination of upright rows and military press combined together (kinda like clean&jerks), 4 sets of 12-8 with additional 5 presses after every set. Second exercise, side laterals, 3 sets of 12-8 reps. Third exercise, barbell front raises, 3 sets of 12-8 reps. Fourth exercise, bent over fly's with pronated grip, 4 sets of 12-8 reps. Fifth exercise, barbell shrugs, 3 sets of 12-8 reps.
Once again, good old standard hypertrophy workout with basic movements...
278 last night vs 250ish five years ago. A couple major back injuries, shoulder surgery, and bulking for shot put has really messed with me. I'm down from 297 in October and I still have work to do. While generally we want the feet to remain flat as long as possible in the pull, it's very common for the heels to rise during the double knee bend / scoop.
This is perfectly acceptable as long as the lifter's balance remains in the same place (slightly behind the middle of the foot).
It should be apparent in this photo, for example, that combined weight of the lifter and bar is behind the balls of the feet despite the pressure being there.
If the heels rise because the lifter is actually shifting forward, it's an error that needs to be corrected.
I have to admit that before yesterday's workout I had only gone to the gym once in 2 weeks 🙃. No I wasn't sick. I was burnt. I had my priorities out of wack and I just needed a mental break. I absolutely love working out but I needed some time to figure out what is important to me. 💕. And I can say that my break was well needed. I feel fresh and energetic and I have a different outlook on my life right now and how I manage my time! So here's to better workouts, a stronger body, and a new attitude towards my life and goals!

1️⃣плохая гибкость этих мышц приводит к травмоопасной ошибке для колен - заваливанию их внутрь😬
2️⃣ эти мышцы активно участвуют в разгибание колена, а значит тоже нуждаются в заминке после любых видов приселаний😉
Важно‼️ старайтесь чтобы во время этого упражнения угол сгибания коленного сустава был порядка 90градусов, не меньше! И будет вам счастье🏋️
