It's funny (odd) how after some of the hardest workouts for me, I physically feel so much better once I've stretched and cooled down. Anyway, enough of my story, go get yourself some! -

I never thought of my self as an inspiration to people. I mean, I want to be. I want folks to see me and see that they can do what I do and be totally amazing and save their life in the process. I often wondered what it felt like to have someone say "you inspire me, because I saw you fighting and working I didn't stop or give up I pushed threw and thank you".I now am immensely humbled and greatful and blessed to not just experience that once or twice, but in the course of a less then a week I've had 3 folks say basically that to me. It's EXTREMELY  humbling and amazing all at the same time. It made my heart leap as a woman today with tears in her eyes thanked me for inspiring her to keep working.it is so humbling, yet I found myself complimenting her and lifting her up and thanking her for being strong and fighting for herself. conditioning piece really got the calves mooing 🐄🐄 1000 double unders and 200 pushups, break up into sets of rep ranges that you can complete unbroken and then alternate exercises until total reps are completed ➡️ now I guess I should rest before the 13.1 miles I'm supposed to run tomorrow that I havnt trained at all for 😬

Growing up I was constantly involved in some type of sport. Whether that's been cheerleading, which I did competitive cheer for about 10 years. I also experimented with soccer, dance, softball, track, and gymnastics. 
I grew up in a competitive environment and always held a vision of bettering myself in a healthy way.
Then the summer before my freshman year of high school, I lost my step dad to suicide.
Not gonna go too much into it (that's a whole other post I'll maybe get to another time) but it completely flipped my life around. 
I felt lost, broken, and grieved my beloved father. 
I gave up doing sports and started hanging out with the wrong crowd. 
I never entirely lost sight of my vision, but I definitely took a detour and went against my morals as a teenager. 
I got into an unhealthy relationship, which over time I realized I needed to change. 
Only in that moment I was somewhat content, I guess you could say. 
I was hurting. 
During this time I looked to my family for support and guidance. My brother being one of these influences. He's the one who ultimately got me into Crossfit and made me interested in trying it in the first place. 
My first WOD I fell in love. 
It was my escape. 
The one hour of my day where I could turn my mind off and simply let my body do the rest. 
It was my safe place. 
I felt more confident. More stronger. More me.
I regained that vision of being the best me I could be.
Over time my passion for it grew. 
It has changed my life. 
I fell in love with fitness all over again.
I got out of the unhealthy relationship. Found myself. 
Started eating healthier. Surrounded myself with like minded people. 
Now 3 years later, I can say I truly love my life and the people I've surrounded myself with. 
The moral of this story is to remember that one small decision can lead to bigger and better things.
Reach out. Take risks. Stay strong. 
Don't be afraid to try something new. And always keep that vision of bettering yourself. 💕

Ayyyyeee... been a minute since I've posted a post cardio sweaty selfie! Anyone else ever notice after cardio they try to flex and have like no definition 🤔 or is that just me 😂 I swear I got some biceps under there somewhere! 🔍🔍👀
Finally have come to accept the only way for me to lean out these legs is to hit this cardio hard again.. been shooting for 6 days a week of fasted am stair intervals (actually only hitting about 5 days) and 4-5 days pm cardio about 25-40 min jogging/ incline treadmill walking and HIIT intervals. My diet has to stay on point ☝🏼 I'm not trying to let @dom.muscle down because of my #FatKid tendencies 🍩🍕👀😁
My body is so damn stubborn but then again I'm not a young spring chicken anymore.. my metabolism is slower than a snail 🐌 but my determination is unstoppable so no excuses.. 4 solid weeks to go till my next photoshoot.. 32nd birthday 🎉 and Memorial Day weekend Vegas pool parties 😅👙
