I can't express how grateful I am for this moment. I finally have my bachelors degree and it's been 14 years in the making! I am now a proud graduate of @snhu
I planned to do this in 4 or 5 year after graduating high school, but life happened and I realized the timing wasn't right. I went to school because that's what we are expected to do, but I wasn't ready to focus properly. So after a year and a half of being at college, I left.
Over the years I've done many things. I've traveled both domestically and internationally quite a bit, moved back and forth across the country countless times, worked as a nanny after I graduated from a professional nanny program, joined the Navy etc... then I had my son, decided to go back to school, and started my business.
A lot happens in life but don't let "life" get in the way of your dreams! If getting your degree is your dream, take classes. Even if it's only one class. If your dream is to travel, start planning that trip! Don't be afraid to try. Don't be afraid of success. You can do it!
Special thanks to Ben Von Sück! He was my advisor and I appreciate all of his help and hard work!
I'm an online student and can't attend graduation with my peers, but I'm crazy proud of you all! Congratulations for making this happen for yourselves!! Photo credit: @jse090105
